Adam Hill, fisherman, son of John and Rebecca(Miller) Hill. Born on February 6, 1810. He was married to Catherine Hoffman on April 1, 1832 at the German Reformed Church by Rev. Samuel Helffenstein. Adam Hill's entire life was spent within a few blocks of Queen and Bishop Streets. In 1880, the Adam Hill Family lived at 642 Richmond Street, where they remained until shorlty after his death. Relatives, friends and members of the Siloam Church were invited to his funeral from the house, and thereafter proceeded to the Palmer Ground.
