Lord Latimer, Knight of Scampston, Latimer, Sinnington and Snape, Yorkshire. Of Bozeat and Corby, Northamptonshire.

Younger son of Sir Ralph de Neville and and his second wife, Joan de Beaufort. Grandson of Sir John de Neville and Maud de Percy, John of Gaunt and Katherine de Roet.

Husband of Elizabeth Beachamp, daughter of Sir Richard de Beauchamp and Elizabeth Berkeley. They were married in Feb of 1437, and had two sons and one daughter:
* Sir Henry married Joanna Bourchier, died at the War of the Roses
* Thomas, lived at Shenstone, Stffordshire
* Katherine, wife of Oliver Sutton and Sir James Ratcliffe
Some sources add a daughter Jane

Sir George was summoned to Parliament from 1431 to 1469 as Georgio Latymer chivaler, and became Lord Latimer. Sir George was considered to be a lunatic before June 11, 1451, and his lands were handed over to his brother, Richard de Neville, Earl of Salisbury.
