He was born on September 27, 1938 in Rochester, MN to Charles Livermont and Ann Greff. He attended schools in South Dakota and worked as a meat cutter for over 50 years.
Richard enjoyed going to garage sales and going to the flea markets. He loved his music and loved cats.
He is survived by his children, Perry (Carol) Livermont, Royce (Katie) Livermont and Trina (Blaine) Davis all of Idaho; siblings, Donald (Annie) Livermont of Barnard, SD, Charlotte Burcin of Bellefonte, PA, Frances Sieler of Alamagordo, NM, Jerry Livermont of Elk River, MN, Robert (Maryann) Livermont of Denver, Mary Geersema of Spearfish, SD, Gary Livermont of Sioux Falls, SD; five grandchildren.
