Marie Curtis was born on February 25, 1908, in the Township of Dekorra. She was the daughter of James and Sena Anderson Jameson. She was a member of the Dekorra Lutheran Church and the Dekorra Lutheran Women's Society. Survivors included her husband, Harold T.; three brothers, Julius and Sidney Jameson, both of Rio, and Reuben Jameson of Milwaukee; a sister, Victoria Jameson of Rio; and nieces, nephews and other near relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and a brother.
