Provoan Dies From Heart Attack

Paul Woolley Taylor, 56, personnel and safety director for the Pacific States Cast Iron Pipe Co., died suddenly at his home, 556 E. 200 S., Provo, at 7:30 a.m., today of a heart attack. He was born Mar. 23, 1910, in Provo, the son of John Whitaker and Janet Maria Mr. Taylor Woolley Taylor. He married Cecile Hatch July 27, 1913, at Provo. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. He received his education in Provo city schools and attended BYU. For 33 years he was employed at the pipe plant holding the posts of personnel director and safety director at the time of his death. He was active in the LDS Church serving as superintend* ent of the Sunday School. Mr. T«ylor was also on the MIA stake board, he has been president of the Elders Quorum and at the time of his death he was a high priest. He also was a scoutmaster. Survivors include his wife of Provo; a son and three daughters, John T. Taylor of Bountiful, Mrs. Wilfred L. (Carma) Johnson, Mrs. Michael S. (Sylvia) Carlyle and Mrs. Lyle M. (Vickie Ann) Williams, all of Provo; five grandchildren; two brothers and three sisters, Samuel W. Taylor of Redwood City, Calif., Raymond W. Taylor of Provo, Mrs. Farris W. (Lillian) Hoover of Provo Canyon, Mrs, Ed (Deli )King of Los Angeles, and Mrs. Reel (Ruth) Williams of Provo. Funeral-services, will be at 1 p. m. Saturday at Our Chapel of Memories Mortuary, Provo, with Bishop Gordon M. Weight of the Provo Seventh LDS Ward officiating.
