Franklin, June 13 -- Mrs. Elizabeth Moore Hill, Hill City, died in the Meadville city hospital Monday after a week's illness. She had been visiting her daughter, Mrs. C. F. Adams, and her condition became so serious that she was removed to the Meadville hospital Saturday. She was born January 24, 1858, at Ten-Mile Bottom and had been a resident of Venango county all her life., of Hill City since 1879.
On October 30, 1879, she was united in marriage with George Hill, who survives, with children Mrs. J. J. Ziegler of Franklin, Mrs. O. E. Mark of Franklin, Mrs. C. F. Adams of Meadville, and Gerald G. Hill at home; five grandchildren; three sisters and a brother, Mrs. Jennie Disque, Mrs. A. C. Sadie, and R. T. Moore, all of Ten-Mile Bottom, and Mrs. Emma Stover of Oil City.
She was a member of the Methodist church of Hill City. Services in her memory will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock in her home by Rev. Norris A. White, pastor of the First Methodist Episcopal church of Franklin, and Rev. Quackenbush of Hill City. Interment in the Franklin Cemetery will follow the services.
