Helen (Pivoni) Strobl
Helen Strobl, born July 18, 1915 in Pe Ell, WA. Graduated from Pe Ell High School in 1933. She and her husband Frank retired in Puyallup Valley after a 30 year career in the Navy. Helen died peacefully surrounded by her family on July 21, 1998 at her home in Puyallup. She is preceded in death by her husband Frank and her daughter Barbara J. Mehringer. Helen is survived by her son Mike and his wife Paula of Puyallup; daughter Kathryn (Bunnye) and husband Scott of Seattle; sister Celia Del Bianco of American Canyon, CA; grandchildren Celia Ann, Lenny, Kristine and Jeff; and great-grandchildren Aly, Jamie, Rachel and Aaron. Helen will be missed by all that knew her. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 3 p.m. Fri., July 24, 1998 at All Saints Catholic Church in Puyallup. A family inurnment will be held Sat. July 25th at Woodbine Cemetery, Puyallup, WA. Arrangements by Powers Funeral Home of Puyallup.
