Ramona J. Calfee, 69, of Mabscott, went to meet her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, June 22, 2002, in a Hilltop area care facility following a long illness. Born Aug. 20, 1932, in Mabscott, she was the daughter of the late George and Gaye Wiseman Lilly. Mrs. Calfee worked at Beckley Hospital, Beckley Manufacturing, and last worked at the Coca-Cola Bottling Co. She Married Truman B. Calfee in September 1950. She was a liflong resident of Mabscott and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Truman B. Calfee; and a brother, George Lilly. Survivors include a brother, Albert Lacy Lilly and wife Bonnie of Mabscott; special nieces, Brenda Lilly of Beckley and Teresa Lilly and husband Rob of Woodbridge, Va.; great nephew, Adam Lilly of Woodbridge, Va.; a special friend, Ruby Adkins of Mabscott; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Blue Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, Beckley, with Pastor Harmon Davis and the Rev. John Syner officiating. Entombment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Mausoleum of Faith, Beckley. Friends may call 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
