Professional Hockey Player. A native of Fort William, Ontario, Backor was 6'00", and 190lbs, and played the position of Defense in the NHL, AHL, PCHL, and the AHL Hockey Leagues. He played for the Toronto Maple Leafs from 1944 to 1945, Pittsburgh Hornets from 1945 to 1954, and the Hollywood Wolves from 1946 to 1947. He won the Stanley Cup in 1946.
