A granddaughter of John Taylor and daughter of John Whitaker and Ellen Georgina Sandberg Taylor, was born July 3, 1914, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She married Roy Call Barlow August 7, 1932, in Farmington, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Utah Temple. They have enjoyed 68 years together. Ellen's greatest happiness was being with her family. She also took great joy in serving her Heavenly Father as a temple worker in the Salt Lake and Jordan River Utah Temples for 11½ years. Loving mother, Ellen Taylor Barlow, passed away in the comfort of her home November 11, 2000. She was 86.

Survived By: Her husband, Roy; children: Elroy and Jeannine Barlow, Rich and Beverly Barlow, Paul and Maureen Barlow, Paul LaMont, Karma Wolfe, Stanford and Charmaine Barlow; 262 children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Preceded In Death By: Her parents; her son, Thomas; and her daughter, Barbara LaMont.
