COLUMBIA - We celebrate the life of Jacqueline "Jackie" Wright Lucas from Columbia, SC. Who, at age 76, entered the gates of Heaven at 10:40 a.m. October 24, 2010. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Conrad "Connie" Wright and Murvell Busbee Wright; sister, Frances Wright; and a brother, Charles Wright.
Surviving are her husband of 58 years, Bryant Lucas of Burnsville, NC; daughters, Linda and Alan McKay of West Columbia, Brenda and Eddy Johnson of Pelion, Cindy and Kevin Miller of Irmo; and sons, Steve and Vickie Lucas of Gaston and Donnie and the late Edna Lucas of Lexington. She also is survived by 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Doris Allen of Irmo and Norma Worley of Columbia; and brothers, Paul, Joe, and Carl Wright of Irmo, and John Wright of Columbia.

The family will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington on Augusta Road from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday evening October 26, 2010. The funeral services will be at White Rock Baptist Church on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Southland Memorial Gardens.
