She was also a granddaughter of John Avenger all of Claiborne Parish, La. She leaves a husband, one little daughter, Nettie Alice, age 4 years and one baby boy two weeks old Bronis Chester, and a host of relations and friends to mourn her loss. Our sister in Christ was a loving Christian, and every one who knew her loved her, she always carried a sweet smile on her face. July 1879 she found Jesus to be her savior and was baptized into the Missionary Baptist Church at Crystial Springs, Claiborne Parish, La. In 1885 she moved with her father and family to Texas, where she was married to T. M. Crump. Oct 6, 1886 two years later removed with her husband to Columbia Co. Ark. with letters from Texas joined the Missionary Baptist Church at Chalybeate Springs, with her husband where she was a member at her death. The Church has lost a good member, the husband a faithful wife, the father and mother a loving daughter, brothers an sisters a sweet sister, grandpa and ma,a pleasant granddaughter, relatives one who loved them all, neighbors and friends one who always met us with a smile. How can we help weeping, she belongs to the master, his will be done. She desired to get well that she could go to see her father, mother and family, grand pa and ma, but she can't come to see us, but we shall go to see her. Jesus help us to be ready when we go to meet her in that home above. My dear brother it looks hard now for you to give up your loved one the mother of your babes, the father and mother to give up their daughter, but it is good for our Father never does wrong. In the sweet bye and bye we will see Mallie again, She is not dead but sleeping.
