Patsy V. Gobble 71, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2012 in a Chattanooga healthcare facility. She was a member of Michigan Avenue Baptist Church. She was a well known cashier in various super markets in Cleveland. She was a graduate of Bradley Central High School Class of 1957.
Patsy was the daughter of the late Jewell H. Byrd and Cecil Cash Byrd and was also preceded in death by her infant son, Terry Lynn Gobble; two brothers, Eugene Byrd and Donnie Byrd; brother-in-law, Jerry Smith.
Survivors include her three children: Vickie Gobble, Joe Gobble and wife Kim and Jeff Gobble and wife, Renee all of Cleveland; nine grandchildren: Amy Epperson, Tricia Marsh, Jay Bolen, Karissa Gobble, Ethan Gobble, Sydney Gobble, Cole Gobble, Madison Gobble and Callie Gobble; step grandchildren, Joslyn Gibson and Andy Gibson; three great grandchildren; two sisters, Jetty Higgins and husband, Ray and Brenda Smith all of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 24, 2012 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Adam Epperson and Pastor Victor Hayes officiating. Interment will follow in Lebanon Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. Her nephews will serve as pallbearers.
