George Marvin Karlin, 66, of Denver died Dec. 21 at Hallmark Care Center, Denver. Services were Dec. 28 at Holy Name Catholic Church in Littleton. Burial was in Fort Logan National Cemetery.
Mr. Karlin was born April 21, 1927, in Catherine, Kan. He married Rita Otto Oct. 16, 1949, in Grand Lake.
He was a mechanic for heavy-duty equipment and racing cars. He was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church.
Surviving are his wife, Rita of Denver; a son, Steve of Yucaipa, Calif.; three sisters, Bertilla Wilson of Colby, Kan., Agnes Sanders of Great Bend, Kan., and Betty Burchfield of Louisville, Texas; five brothers, Eldon and Robert of Denver, Francis and Eugene of Hays, Kan., and Ervin of Wheat Ridge; and two grandchildren.
