Annie Estelle Brooking Bogdan, aged 98, went to Heaven on Monday.

She was preceded by her husband, William W. Bogdan; brothers, Raymond, Wilson, Walter, and Joe Brooking; one sister, Doris Morgan; and daughter, Christine Hicks.

She will be missed by her sister, Elsie Broache; her son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Bev Bogdan; her granddaughters, Lisa, Robin, Cheryl, and JoAnne; her seven great-grandchildren; and her nieces, nephews and beloved friends.

Annie was a member of Webber Memorial Baptist Church for over 50 years, and was known to all for her encouraging cards and notes.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Webber Memorial Baptist Church, 7800 Salem Church Road, Richmond, Va. 23237, followed by a luncheon.

Interment will take place at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
