Joan was born October 30, 1929 in Steuben County, Indiana to William and Velma (Jacques) Drushal.
She married Richard Banker on December 31, 1948. He preceded her in death on February 11, 2000.
Joan was a resident of Branch County for many years, and a 1947 graduate of Camden-Frontier High School.
She worked for Coldwater Community Schools, driving bus for many years, retiring in 1990.
Joan enjoyed golfing, bowling and was a member of the Coldwater Women of the Moose.
Joan is survived by her daughter Karen (Wally) Scheidler , her sister Darlene Schilling , her grandson, and 5 Great children.
In addition to her husband Richard, Joan was preceded in death by her parents, her grandson David Scheidler, her sister Mildred Stout, and her brother Kenneth Drushal.
