Sarah is the daughter of William M. Lyster & Lucinda Lloyd. She married Thomas Cicero "Cid" Sharp on 16 Jan 1880 in Elk Co, KS. They had 8 children: Ettie B., Myrtle May (Sharp) Allison, William Chester, Otis, Grace May (Sharp) Ripple -Jeary, James Paris, Harold Glen, and Lloyd Elmer Sharp.

In 1930 she was living in Iola, Allen, KS with her husband. I believe she died there and not in Chanute, Neosho, KS.
