Searcy Barrow, 65, 2701 Prairie, suffered a heart attack at his home about 8 a.m. Saturday and died a short time later in Hotel Dieu Hospital. Mr. Barrow was a lifetime resident of Beaumont. He was a veteran of World War I and was a member of Local 587 of the Boilermakers. Surviving are his wife; three sisters, Mrs. Edith Keith, Miss Ann Barrow and Mrs. Glen Ballard, all of Beaumont; five brothers, Preston, Fred and Lynn Barrow, all of Beaumont Leo Barrow of China and Chester Barrow of West Lake, La. Funeral services will be held t 4 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of the L.M. Williams and Sons Funeral Home. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
