Funeral services for Fred William Barrow, 76, of 1560 Roberts will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the L.M. Williams and Sons Funeral home chapel. The Rev. Jones Thompson, pastor of Calvary Baptist church, will officiate. Burial will be in Magnolia cemetery. Mr. Barrow, a lifelong resident of Beaumont, died Thursday at 4:05 p.m. in Baptist hospital after a brief illness. He was a machinist for Mobil Oil corporation until his retirement in 1946 and a member of the International Association of Machinists. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Florence Barrow of Beaumont; two sons, J.E. Barrow and Carroll Barrow, both of Beaumont; one daughter, Mrs. Louise Brown of Port Arthur; three sisters, Miss Ann Barrow, Mrs. Jody Ballard, and Mrs. Edith Keith, all of Beaumont; three brothers, Leo Barrow of Westbury, Tex., Preston Barrow of Beaumont, and Chester Barrow of Westlake, La. and two grandsons.
