American Astronaut. A crewmember aboard the Space Shuttle "Challenger", he served on the mission that lasted from July 29, 1985, to August 6, 1985. He died of a heart attack while attempting to climb Mount Everest, and was buried on Changste Glacier on Mount Everest.
