MRS. ELMER SEIFERT, 53, OF WINCHESTER, IS DEAD
Funeral service for Mrs. Leona Pearl Seifert, 53, who died early Tuesday morning at the family home, three miles north of Winchester, were held at the Hebron Baptist church, five miles southeast of here, Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The Rev. J. D. Everett officiated. Interment was in Hill cemetery, three miles north of Winchester.
Mrs. Seifert was born near St. Joseph, Mo., November 5, 1884. While a young girl, she moved with her parents ot Lawton, Okla., where she married Elmer Seifert December 29, 1908. They moved to Jefferson county, Kas., in 1912; the family has lived in this community since.
Besides the husband, she is survived by five sons, Charles Seifert, of Oskaloosa; Roy, John, Dale, and Donald Seifert, all of the home; five sons, Charles Seifert, of Oskaloosa; Roy, John, Dale, and Donald Seifert, all of the home; five sisters, Mrs. W. a. Beers, Lawrence; Mrs. George Garrett, Gravity, Ia.; Mrs. L. J. Shockley, McLouth; Mrs. Cora Garrish, Joplin, Mo.; and Mrs. D. A. Taylor, Joplin; two brothers, W. L. Garrett, DeRidder, La., and George Garrett, Winchester.
