Actor. Brother of director Charles Hines and actor Samuel E. Hines. Hines began his film career in the early 1910s. To his well-known productions belong "Conductor 1492." Hines' starring career ended when talkies came in. He only played smaller parts, among others in "Don't Leave Home," "Whistling in the Dark," and "Too Hot to Handle." Besides his acting activity, Hines also directed some movies and wrote scripts.
