Betty Ann Maness, age 78, of Madison Heights, died Friday, March 16, 2012 at her home. She was born November 20, 1933 in Henderson, TN to Charles and Exie Cochran.Mrs. Maness was a long time member of the Royal Oak Church of Christ and retired from Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, in 1994 where she was a Nurse's Aide for 20 years. She will be remembered for her service to others and to her church.Surviving are her husband, Ernest; children, Phillip (Yolanda) Maness of Thousand Oaks, CA, Lisa (Ronald) Hayostek of Royal Oak and Martin Maness of Key West, FL; granddaughter, Claire Hayostek; siblings, Larry (Doris) Cochran of Woodville, AL, Gayle (Harrell) Shields of Lexington, TN and Phyllis Knolton of Henderson, TN. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Max and Donald Cochran, Janice Vestal and Mary Jo Belcher.Visitation Sunday 2-9 p.m. at the Kinsey-Garrett Funeral Home, 420 S. Lafayette, Royal Oak.
