Mrs. Ida L. Spohn, 58, wife of Frank A. Spohn, died at 1 p.m. Saturday at her home, 209 Eleventh street. Death followed a four weeks' illness, and was the result of a heart affliction.
Mrs. Spohn was born Aug. 21, 1868, in Joe Davis[sic] county, Illinois. She was married to Elmer C. Marchant, whose death occured many years ago. To them were born five children, one of whom died in infancy and a son, Leo, a World war veteran, Oct. 19, 1919. She was married to Mr. Spohn in 1916, who survives her.
Other surviving relatives are mother, Mrs. John Kline of Marion; three sons, Curtis of Perry; Marle and Darrell of Marion; a granddaughter, Betty May and a sister, Mrs. Dora Marchant of Los Angeles, Cal. She was a member of the Christian church.
