Film Editor. She was an American film editor who owned her own company, Dynamic Film Service, in Detroit. She was listed in the credits as editing the animated humorous short film, "The Crunch Bird," which received an Academy Award in 1971 for best short animated film. At two minutes and 32 seconds, this animated film was the shortest to date to receive an Oscar. Previously, she was with the Jam Handy Company, which created animated commercials to play between movies. She also worked in Chicago for Wilding Brothers studio. She is not to be confused with the actress Helen Carey, who was born in 1944.
