Funeral services for Joseph Decker will be held in Elks' lodge room Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with officers of the lodge in charge. Rev. Chester W. Wharton, of the Presbyterian church, will offer prayer. Friends of Mr. Decker and the public are invited to attend.
The remains will be in state at the Temple after 4 o'clock this afternoon.

DECKER RITES HELD SUNDAY
Funeral services for Joseph Decker, telephone directory publisher, were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Elks' temple and largely attended. The rites were in charge of Ernest W. Karow, exalted ruler, and officers of the lodge. Rev. Chester W. Wharton, pastor of the Presbyterian church, preached the sermon. He extolled Mr. Decker as a public servant, the apostle of friendliness, and kindness and a community-minded person. A letter was read from Valparaiso university officials regretting inability to attend the rites. A quartet composed of Vernon L. Beach, Vernon L. Philley, Dr. C. L. Bartholomew and William Von Doehren sang. Pallbearers were G. E. Bornholt, W. B. Forney, Abe Lowenstine, Dr. C. A. Nixon, Frank L. Faley and Julius Albe. Burial was in Graceland cemetery.
