Swedish Composer. His real name was Stig Hansson, but his pseudonym "Jules Sylvain" became his trade-mark, though he had almost 30 different alias. He wrote some 800 songs, among them, many of the most treasured songs in Sweden´s history of entertainment; "Räkna de lyckliga stunderna blott," "Tangokavaljeren" and "Säg det i toner" to mention a few. He also wrote music to several of the revues by Ernst Rolf and Karl Gerhard. His last years he lived in Italy, where he also is buried.
