David Alanson HISCOCK was the oldest child born to Richard HISCOCK and Persis HIGBEE. The Luther Hiscock family bible says "David Alonson Hiscock was born on February 1, 1833".

He was a life-long farmer and remained unmarried.

He served in the Civil War.

David HISCOCK moved with his parents to Michigan where four of his siblings - Rebecca Hotaling, Higbee P Hiscock, Sarah Bush, and Richard Hiscock - had already moved and made it their home. His sister Mary E FISHER remained behind in Onondaga County, New York.

David moved to be near his brother Higbee's children in Nebraska. He was buried with them. His headstone says Uncle.
