Philadelphia officials say an unoccupied warehouse had been cited several times and the city was preparing to take the property owner to court before a massive blaze that killed two firefighters.
Sixty-year-old Lt. Robert Neary and 25-year-old firefighter Daniel Sweeney were killed early Monday after battling the fire. They had gone into an adjacent building that caught fire to inspect it when a wall and roof collapsed. Two other firefighters were injured.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing Friday 5 to 9 P.M. and members of the Philadelphia Fire Department are invited 7 to 9 P.M., St. Cecilia Church, 535 Rhawn St., Phila. PA 19111.
All are welcome to his Viewing Saturday 9 A.M. followed by Funeral Mass 11 A.M. at St. Cecilia's. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations to Firefighter Daniel Sweeney Memorial Scholarship Fund at any Police and Fire Federal Credit Union would be appreciated.
