Rachel Neal Enstrom of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away early Monday morning, April 9, 2012 at Luther Manor. She was 102 years old. Rachel Rachel Neal Enstrom was born on October 9, 1909 in Washington County, Pennsylvania to the late William W. and Lavina (Cooley) Neal. She married Harry Enstrom on June 27, 1928 in Wellsburg, West Virginia. He preceded her in death on January 14, 2001. Rachel leaves her daughter, Linda (Burt) Fettig, to cherish her memory.

Rachel was blessed with strong family ties. She had nine brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews from her family and the family of her husband, Harry. Rachel especially enjoyed family reunions and family visits. She was a member of the Hewitt Presbyterian Church and very active in their Quilting Circle for many years. She loved gardening, had many household cats, and was very creative with a wide variety of arts, crafts and quilting.

Rachel's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Luther Manor and Meadowview Manor.

As requested by Rachel, a private service will be held at the family plot in the Greene County Memorial Park at the convenience of the family. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Enstrom Family Scholarship Fund at the Community Foundation of Greene County, P.O. Box 768, Waynesburg, PA. 15370.
