Margaret was the youngest of eight children of John Michael Masterson and Catherine Agusta Dever Masterson. She grew up in Lambertville.
She married John William Brahan on Feb. 18, 1914 at St John the Evangelist Church in Lambertville. The couple had one son, John W. Brahan, Jr. (aka John J. Brahan).
About 1919, Margaret moved to 346 Garfield Avenue, Trenton, Mercer Co., New Jersey. At the end of her life, she lived with her son in Levittown, Bucks Co., Pennsylvania.
After she fell ill, Margaret spent her remaining days being cared for by her niece, Marie Reid Shoudt, who was a registered nurse in Milford.
