Excerpt -- Joseph Trickett, who has lived at his late home, four miles north of town for about five years. His death occurred Saturday, Feb. 27th, at a little past 12 o'clock. He had just eaten a hearty dinner and dropped over dead. He was born near Fellowsville 82 years ago. He was twice married. His first wife was a Miss. Bean, by whom he had two children. His second wife, who is still living, was Miss. Ellen Turner, by whom he has four children. The funeral took place in Kingwood Cemetery, Monday forenoon, and was conducted by Rev. Hackett. Uncle Joe was a farmer, successful in his day, and a well know man in this part of the county. He received a pension on account of a son who died in the Army. Mr. Trickett was not a soldier.
