MRS. LUCY ANNA PRESSEY DIED THIS MORNING

Native of Martin County was Seriously Ill Three Weeks

Mrs. Lucy Anna Pressey, age 70, widow, died this morning at 11:53 o'clock at the family residence, 622 W. Main Street, following a three weeks illness. Her condition had been regarded as serious all this time and death was attributed to paralysis.

The deceased was a native of Martin county having been born on March 8, 1861. She was the daughter of William and Caroline (Elzsey) [sic] Harper, both natives of Indiana. She was educated in the Martin county schools.

Mrs. Pressey was a member of the Free Methodist Church.

She was the last member of her family, one brother and two sisters having preceded her in death.

Children surviving are Joseph E. Thombleson, Bicknell; Mrs. Rebecca Jett, city; James H. Thombleson, city; Mrs. Phoebe Ferguson, Martin county; Newton Thombleson, city.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete but the body will be returned to the residence from the Elwood Williams funeral home sometime tomorrow.

PRESSEY FUNERAL WILL BE THURSDAY

Funeral services for Mrs. Lucy Anna Pressey, 79, will be held at the residence, 622 W. Main Street, Thursday morning at 9:30 o'clock. Rev. J. R. Page will be in charge. Interment will be in the Wood cemetery in Martin county.
