Mr. Mayfield was born Oct. 10,1915 in Cummings, the
son of Isaac and
Bessie Dennis Mayfield. He farmed in the Cummings area all his life.

guitar and mouth harp. Mr.Mayfield was a member of the Cummings
Christain Church.
Survivors include one brother, Isaac Mayfield, Everest,
three sisters Mrs.
Ellen Young, Atchison, Mrs. Gladys Higley, Cummings, Mrs. Viola Higley,
Horton, several nieces and nephews.
