Admiral of the Royal Italian Navy. A explorer and mountaineer. Born Luigi Amedeo Giuseppe Maria Ferdinando Francesco of Savoy. He was the third son of Amedeo Ferdinand Maria of Savoy, King of Spain, and Maria Vittoria dal Pozzo della Cisterna. He is otherwise known as "Il Principe Esloratore".
