Genevieve D. "Jenny" Massaro, 84, of Millersburg, went to the open arms of our Lord on Thursday, April 26, 2012.

Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, with minister Lawrence R. Jarka officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Millersburg.

Friends may call two hours prior to the services on Monday at the funeral home.

She was born July 11, 1927, in West Virginia, the daughter of the late Anna (Oldaker) and Benjamin F. Cornwell, and married Steve Eiler on June 20, 1947. After Steve's passing in 1988, she married Henry Massaro in 1994.

Jenny loved to garden, whether it be vegetables or flowers; she took much pride in the beauty and bounty that the good Lord provided. She loved to quilt and through the years produced many beautiful quilts. Jenny also had much love and pride in her family. She was a mother of five, grandmother of nine and a great-grandmother to 12.

Jenny touched many lives and was an inspiration to all. Respected by everyone who knew her, she would tell you what you needed to hear, even if it wasn't "what" you wanted to hear. She was talented in more ways than she would admit.

Moving to Holmes County in 1964, while working a full-time job, tending a 200-acre farm she managed to raise five children and enjoy the company of her grandchildren in later years. A member of the Loudonville branch of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Jenny was a people greeter for Millersburg Walmart.

Her wisdom, wit and love will be missed by all.

Surviving are children, Steve Jr. (Kathy) Eiler, Dona (Mark) VanSickle and Sherry (John) Mullet, all of Millersburg. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband(s) Steve Eiler Sr. and Henry Massaro; children, David B. and William "Bill" Eiler; brothers, Frank, Paul and Roy Cornwell; and sisters, Hazel Cornwell and Josephine Myers.
