CARVER -- Thursday morning, at 6 o'clock, September 30 1937, a her home, 1410 Ordway Place, Mrs. Lillie Pearl Carver, aged 57 years. Survived by four sons, Granville Ervin Carter of New York, N.Y., Douglan P. Carver, Duncan A. Carver and J. B. Carver, II, all of Nashville, Tenn.;mother, Mrs. Annie Hewgley; sisters, Miss Janie Hewgley, Mrs. Minnie Price and Mrs. Edna Graham; brothers, Joe and I. C. Hewgley of Knoxville, Tenn., I. G. Hewgley of this city; granddaughter, Miss Mary Joe Carver. Funeral services from the residence Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, conducted by Rev. P.F. Langston,. Her nephews will serve as pallbearers. Interment Spring Hill Cemetery. Roesch-Charlton Co., funeral directors.
