A Student of Medicine at the
University of Pennsylvania.
He was born in Maryland,
December 14th 1766
and died December 18th 1786
in the 20th year of his age

Gentleness, integrity and benevolence
Adorned his life, and procured for him the
Esteem of all who knew him.

His only Brother,
Charles Goldsborough
of Maryland,
Hath caused this stone to be erected
A monument of his
Fraternal affection
"For this corruptible must put on incorruption,
and this mortal must put on immortality."
