Lillian R. nee Wilson Boyd Hampson
A daughter of Samuel Wilson and Mary nee Over Wilson.
Her surviving named siblings:
Blanche ,of Punxsutawney;
Mrs. Althea Gardner of Wilkinsburg;
Mrs. Rhoda Rimer;
J.P. Wilson,both of Rimersburg;
and R.O. Wilson of Berkley,California.
She was married 1st to L.C. Boyd and resided in Punxsutawney. L.C.Boyd died sometime after 1 October 1910,as he was the Informant on his brothers,Park W. Boyd's death certificate. Lillian was later married on 30 January 1918 to Roger Hampson,who was a State Mine Inspector ,at that time ,in this area. She was Roger's 2nd wife.
She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and had resided in the Punxsutawney area for 40 years. The Morrison Funeral Home in Punxsutawney, was in charge of the funeral arrangements.
The Rev. Herman Humke officiated and burial was made at the Rimersburg Cemetery.
