Canadian Politician, A native of Rivière-du-Loup (Québec), he studied the Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pocatière College, at the College of Lévis and at the Laval University in Québec. He became secretary of Joseph-Édouard Charon, Minister for Agriculture, in 1909. He was admitted to the bar of the Province of Québec, on January 16, 1913. He was created King’s Counsel in 1924. He had his practice in Québec. He worked as legal adviser for the City of Québec, from 1918 to 1939. He acted as delegate in Québec for the French Maritime League and vice-president of the Canado-American Association. He served as alderman of the Montcalm district to the city council of Québec, from 1916 to 1918. In 1916, he was elected to the Legislative Assembly as the Liberal representative for the district of L’Islet. He was re-elected in 1919 without opposition, in 1923 and 1927, again without opposition. On April 26, 1929, he resigned and was appointed to the Legislative Council for the the division of Kennebec. He died in function in Québec.
