Major League Baseball Player. Had his major league debut on April 27, 1930, with the Philadelphia Athletics. He played second base and shortstop with them from 1930 to 1934. He also helped them win the 1931 World Series. He was traded to the Boston Red Sox and played with them for the 1935 season.
