She was preceded by two daughters, Mary Elizabeth Walden Turner and Charlotte Gayle Walden; three sisters, Ozella Annie Woodall, Evelyn Tidwell, infant Iva Lee Mullican; and one brother, Billy Ray Mullican.

Maureen Mullican Walden Roberts was born on October 6, 1924 in the Neel community. She was the first child of Bill and Ola Mullican. She died on June 2, 2012.
Maureen was brave, resilient and self-sufficient, she taught herself to type after she was in her 70's. She was the originator and leader for the only kindergarten class at Bellview Baptist Church where she was active for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Ray Mullican, Ozella Woodall and Evelyn Tidwell; and two daughters, Charlotte Walden and Mary Turner.
Survived by sons, Junior and Carl Walden (Susan); stepson, Ellis M. Walden; son-in-law, Jackie A. Turner; brothers, John Mullican (Ann) and Jack Mullican (Faye); sisters, Myrtle Chenault (Chester) and Inez Pace; sister-in-law, Pat Mullican; six grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 18 nieces and nephews who remember her with fondness.
