Ruth Nunn Slaughter age 103 of Horse Cave passed away Monday June 4, 2012 at the Episcopal Church home of Louisville. She was a Farmer and a Bookkeeper for several Tobacco Warehouses in Horse Cave, a Salesperson for Marcum & Woodward and a Cashier for the Mammoth Cave Wax Museum.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene Nunn & Bessie Harlow Nunn, Her Beloved Husband, Thea Forrest (Buster)Slaughter, a daughter, Fay Melloan, Two Sisters, Ruby Adams & Christine Galloway and by one brother, Otis Nunn.
Survivors include one Daughter, Peggy Brownfield & her husband Philip of Bowling Green, Four Grandchildren, Seven Great-Grandchildren and Eight Great-Great-Grandchildren, Also Numerous Loving Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday June 6, 2012 in the Chapel of Winn Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery.
Visitation at Winn Funeral Home from 10 a.m. Wednesday until funeral time.
