Delbert D. Brown
Salem--Delbert D. Brown, 77, of 102-1/2 W. Main Street, died at 11:10 p.m. Saturday in a Clarksburg hospital.
He was born June 12, 1887, near Jarvisville, a son of the late William and Florinda Ward Brown.
Surviving are one son, Elmer G. Brown of Route 2; three daughters, Mrs. John (Helen) Varner and Mrs. Robert (Wilma Lee) Reese, both of Weirton, and Mrs. Robert (Ruby) Tinney of Clarksburg; two sisters, Mrs. J. H. (Icie) Mayfield of Bridgeport, and Mrs. Stella Goldsmith of Clarksburg; and seven grandchildren.
Mr. Brown was a retired glassworker and restaurant operator.
He was affiliated with the Baptist Church.
