Mrs Jane E McGovern, 96, passed away March 19, 1981, at Glendive. She was a resident of the nursing home. Mrs McGovern and her late husband, Patrick, who passed away in 1973, homesteaded on Clear Creek in 1910. They moved to Glendive in 1959.
Survivors are five daughters, Elaine (Mrs Joe) Roos of Terry; Ruth (Mrs E J) Eckland of Glendive;; Helen (Mrs George) Granmoe of Glendive;; Mary (Mrs Leonard) Slagsvold of Glendive; and Grace (Mrs Bill) Berberet of Toston. There are also 28 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren.
