She was a graduate of Stanford University and was a professional singer, teacher and legal secretary in several places in California and lived in Cambria, CA, before moving to Wilsonville in 1991. In 1940, she married Frank R. Cady. Survivors include her husband; daughter; son; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
