He was the second of twelve children born to Sebastian and Frances (Senn) Wandler. Husband of Alma N. (Paisley) Wandler. He entered into marriage with Alma on November 30, 1947 in Seattle, King County, Washington. Father of Katherine Walters, John, James, David and Daniel Wandler. Brother to Casper, Raymond, Sebastian, Emilia Solsvik, Leona Graham, Henry, Shirley Ebentheur and four siblings that died in infancy. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Alma, son John, son-in-law Lauren Walters, step-sister Anna Livermont, step-brother Rolly Greff, brothers Casper, Raymond and sister Leona.
