In 1982 the Pufpaff triplets again were in the press for their 50 year wedding anniversary and they were even featured in the Guinness Book of World Records in the 1983-1990 for unusual golden anniversaries (the triplets were all married over 50 yrs), and also featured in the textbook "Married and the Single Life", by Audrey Palm Riker, Holly Brisbane, 3rd edition 1984.

Marie A McNamara
Marie A McNamara, 87, of St Peter died Tues Oct 24 2000 at the t Peter Community Health Care Center.
Mass of the Resurrection was at 2 pm Thurs Oct 26 at First Lutheran Catholic Church in St Peter. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery. The Rev. Harry Behan will officiate.
Visitation was held one hour prior to services at the church on Thurs. St Peter Funeral Services was in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs McNamara was born on April 29 1913 in Cleveland, MN to George and Bertha (Boldt) Pufpaff. She along with Alma and Lucille were the first set of triplets born in MN. She attended school in Cleveland.
She married Fred McNamara on April 12 1932at a triple wedding ceremony along with her sisters, Alma and Lucille, at the Church of Nativity in Cleveland.
They moved to Madison Lake after the maarriage, and in 1935 they moved to Hector. While in Hector she worked as a waitress in a restaurant. They moved to St Peter in 1974. She was a member of a church of St Peter, a former Pocahantas and was active with the St Peter senior citizens. She enjoyed baking, cooking, quilting, and playing cards.
She is survived by her Husband Frederick: two sons, Kenneth and wife Martha of Ceres CA, Richard and Wife Barbara of Minnetonka, a daughter Colleen and husband Kenneth Pritchett of Coon Rapids, six grandchildren: a brother Harold and wife Vangie Johnson of Mankato, two sisters Darline and husband Dayton Hale, of St Peter, and Addie Johnson of Burnsville, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was proceeded in death by her parents: her son Paul, in infancy, her brother Arnold Pufpaff, her four sisters Alma Prom, Lucille Vogel, Rosie Pufpaff, and Alice Pufpaff, and her granddaughter, Ann Longton.
