She was the daughter of Frank and Leona (Suchland) Hagaman. On Apr 25, 1959, she married Kenneth Dean Phipps, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, David (Laura), Ogden; a daughter, Leona (Jim) Viau, Boone; a brother, Karl Sr. (Rita), Celina, OH; two sisters: Susan (Dalton) Luth and Mary (Bob) Hines, both Celina; and four grandchildren.
Deceased are three brothers: Steve, Jim and Jack; and two sisters: Barb and Kathy.
She worked as a teacher's aide and later as a grower at Boone Greenhouses for 17 years before retiring in July 2001.
Private graveside services are with the Rev. King Smith officiating.
