WILDER'S REMAINS INTERRED
The body of Huey Wilder, whose death occurred in Philadelphia, where he had fallen ill of influenza in a naval hospital, arrived Wednesday afternoon and was taken to the home of his father, Mr. G. D. Wilder. Thursday morning in front of the court-house and under the flag, which was at half mast, Rev. P. L. Bruce, of the Presbyterian church, preached an appropriate funeral discourse. Several songs were sung by a quartette of ladies and gentlemen, after which the remains were laid to rest in Buffalo Springs Cemetery. Young Wilder was a fine young man and his taking away in the very prime of life is the source of sincere regret. Much sympathy is felt for his family and all who were near and dear to him.
